The stainless steel 321 version is used to stabilize the alloy with the use of titanium. The extra carbon content in Stainless Steel 321 H Plates provides resistance to temperatures above 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. It also provides creep resistance to avoid rupture. Welding should be avoided when Stainless steel grade 321 or 321H is put to use in industrial procedures. Stainless steel grade 304 can be considered a better alternative. It is also a very ductile metal. Stainless Steel 321H Plates needs to be hardened only using cold forming methods. They are also used in acidic environments at different temperatures and different acidic mediums. It provides good resistance to organic dilute acids in moderate temperatures and pure phosphoric acids in mild and low temperatures. The solutions should be 10% dilute to react within elevated high-temperatures. They also can work in chlorine solutions like marine components and caustic solutions.
